The Appeal court sitting at Lagos has dismissed APC Ayade’s petition with cost of 500k and affirmed the victory of Sen. Jarigbe Agom (PDP) as Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District

Also Appeal Court sitting in Lagos reaffirmed the judgement of lowe Tribunal by declaring Sen. William Eteng Jonas (APC) as the authentic winner of the NASS election held on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Appeal court also reaffirmed the victory of Hon. Godwin Offiono (PDP) as member representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency. 

The Appeal court panel sitting at Lagos held that, Jude Ngaji ( APC)  could not adduce evidence to prove substantial non compliance with the provisions of the Electoral Act.

 Appeal court therefore upheld the judgement of the Tribunal, dismissing Jude’s Petition as lacking in merit.

PDP however, regained another victory as Austine Aidem was reaffirmed winner of the Akamkpa/Biase federal Constituency election., thereby defeating Hon. Emil Inyang of APC.
