Save Wike from shame, Eze Tells Political Jobbers Urging the former Rivers Governor to Join APC
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria & Ex. Gov. Wike of Rivers State

T
he erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New
People's Democratic Party (NPDP), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze,
had expressed his concern over the current push by political jobbers
for former Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike to join the All Progressives
Congress (APC).

This comes as a surprising turn of events, considering Wike's previous
description of the APC as "cancerous" and the PDP as "malaria-infested."
The call for Wike's defection was made by Mr. Tony Okocha,
who had been identified as a non-member and an impostor of the APC.
Chief Eze emphasized that individuals like Okocha should not be involved
in scheming Wike into the party, unless the former governor intends to join
through unconventional means.
Eze criticized Wike for considering such a move, stating that if he truly
wants to switch parties, he should have the courage to do so openly,
rather than resort to clandestine actions.

Chief Eze highlighted the significant damage Wike had caused
to the PDP since the party's inception in 2014 as well as his
orchestrated attacks on APC leaders, including President Buhari
and Asiwaju Tinubu, to obstructing the party's candidate selection process,
arguing that allowing someone with such a track record to join the very
party he tried to decimate would be unacceptable.

Eze pleaded with political stakeholders of the likes of
Tony Okocha to save Wike from the embarrassment of "eating his vomit"
and refrain from pursuing this unholy act motivated by personal gains,
criticizing Okocha's claim of leadership within the Rivers APC as lacking
competence and credibility.
According to Eze, Okocha's desperate plea for Wike to come and
lead him only highlights his confusion and frustration as a jobber seeking attention.

The situation had raised eyebrows and sparked discussions about the possible motivations behind Wike's potential defection to the APC. As the political landscape continues to evolve, the spotlight remains on the former Rivers Governor and the actions of those urging him to join the ruling party.
