Reps Member Pledges ₦10m Donation to NYCN Skills Acquisition Project in Calabar.

House of Representative Member, representing Obudu, Bekwara and Obanliku federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Peter Akpanke has pledged the donation of a staggering sum of ten million naira only (₦10,000,000) for the construction of the National Youth Council of Nigeria's (NYCN) Cross River Chapter one thousand capacity Skills Acquisition hall project in Calabar, the state Capital.
The Honorable Member, who is popularly called, ' Peter the Rock' made the pledge during the Child dedication ceremony of Master El-Majesty Ogamode Olayi, baby of the State Chairman NYCN, Comr. Emmanuel Olayi,
He states,"My resolve to support the project emanates from the interest to see youths of the State who are already playing leadership roles shouldering responsibilities to succeed in various productive ventures".
Speaking on behalf of the youth leadership in the state, Comr. Bartholomew Adie lauded Hon.Peter Akpanke for showing genuine commitment towards youth empowerment and community development adding that the project will serve as a centre for Skills Acquisition, productivity, programs and leadership training as well as venue for meetings.
Another Youth Leader, Comr. Samuel Peter announced that the law maker's generous contributions have significantly impacted on youth development and members of his constituents, while charging other politicians to receive inspiration from his generosity and emulate him by investing in similar initiatives that will benefit the youths and broader community
On completion, the project will serve as a skills acquisition centre, leadership training and one thousand capacity meeting hall for the youths of Cross River State.
