Rep Igariwey Facilitates Construction of 5 Rural Roads In Afikpo Urban, Amasiri, Uwana, Owutu Communities

The member representing Afikpo/Edda federal constituency, has facilitated that construction of five urban roads.

The roads are the Amakwu - Nkagbogo-Ekenta Market Road started in November 2024, Letu - Ekata - Ugwufie - Owutu Road, Edda,  and Unwana Mater Road, Unwana Afikpo

Others are Amoge-Ekeje-Orah Road, Ozizza-Afikpo and  Amasiri Central School - ASSA Road, Afikpo. 

The road projects are at the last stage of construction work and will soon be completed.

Speaking, Igariwey said:"During campaigns, I promised to turn around infrastructures within my constituency and that is exactly what we are doing to make life more meaningful to my people.

"With these roads, social and economic life will be boosted and improve their standard of living. Afikpo is a big town and needs all the infrastructures to return it to the lost glory.

"We are agrarian and with these roads, our farm produce will be easily evacuated, thereby putting money in the hands of farmers."

Commending the people for the airport so far, he enjoined them to take ownership of the projects once they completed and promised to do more within his capacity.
