PICTORIALS ON TRADITIONAL CONFERMENT OF TITLES ON GOV BASSEY OTU AND THE WIFE, HE EYOANWAN OTU BY IBOKU CLAN IN ODUKPANI LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OD CROSS RIVER STATE

IT was pomp and ceremony on Saturday, January 4, 2025 as His Excellency, Sen. Bassey Otu Edet, was conferred with the traditional title of Uforo Iboku and Utuene ikaŋ Iboku (meaning the Growth and Light of Iboku)  and the dear wife, Her Excellency, Eyoanwan Otu, was conferred with Uwana Iboku (meaning Light of the Iboku).

The conferment was carried out by  the Concerned Citizens of Creek Town in collaboration with Creek Town Traditional Council. 

The event took place at Iboku Esitedik in Odukpani Local Government Area, Cross River State.
