Philanthropist, Elvis, Distributes Cash Gifts, Rice, Other Food Items to Over 200 Widows In Delta Community

COMMITTED to empowering the less privileged,Double Chief Masor Elvis, the Akulunor-1 of Afor and the Agujegbe-1 of Delta has distributed cash gifts, rice, groundnut oil and other food items to over 200 widows in Umuakpala, Afor community in Ndokwa-East local government area of Delta state. 

Speaking during the presentation, High Chief Elvis said the gesture was to celebrate Christmas and New Year with his people and to thank God for blessing him so as to bless others.

Chief Elvis, who appreciated God for the opportunity to give to his people in the Christmas season, reaffirmed his commitment towards catering for the well-being of the widows in his Ward. 


While thanking the people for coming out to receive him and for accepting his gifts, he encouraged the beneficiaries to always depend on God for their sustenance, stressing that it is God who has graciously supplied them their needs through him. 

According to Elvis, who is also the leader of Delta State indigenes in Cross River State, “as a beneficiary of God's love, grace and blessings upon his life, I am duty bound to reciprocate same gestures to others. As a philanthropist who is committed to the welfare of others. I, therefore, advise the beneficiaries to make good use of the cash as gifts that have been so given.” 

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Madam Mary Azi commended Chief Elvis for putting smiles in the faces of his people at a time like this even as she prayed to God to keep and bless him abundantly for his generosity.to who was elated with the kind gesture.
