Late Mr. Emeka Peter Enamhe was born on the 19th of January 1971 to the family of late Sir and Noble Lady Dominic Okpashi Enamhe KSJI, of Atiambi - Gakem in Bekwarra Local Government Council.

He attended St. Benedict Primary School, Ogoja where he obtained the First School Leaving Certificate in 1983. Thereafter, he proceeded to the prestigious Mary Knoll College, Okuku where he passed the West African School Certificate in 1989.

On completing his Secondary School Education, he proceeded on further studies to the University of Calabar, Calabar where he graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc) in Agricultural Science. 

He completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme in Kaduna State in 2000.

Due to Peter's quest for further education, he enrolled and completed the Post- Graduate Diploma programme in Management (PGDM) in 2003 and furthermore, the Master in Business Administration (EMBA) in 2004.

After the NYSC, Peter had a stint with the Bekwarra Local Government Council as Agricultural Assistant until he secured the job with the Federal College of Education (FCE) Obudu.

At the FCE, Obudu he started his working career as Administrative Officer 2 in 2009 and rose to the rank of Assistant Deputy Registrar in 2021 which he held until his death on thursday 25th January 2024.

By the normal progression order of his Career, he would have been due promotion to the next rank of Deputy Registrar n a few months time this year.

He was a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).

Peter was a devout and ardent Christian of the Catholic faith who didn't fail to attend the morning mass everyday whether he was at his station or not except prevented by something beyond his control.

PENAM as he was fondly called was quite a sociable personality who valued friendship and fitted into many groups and social circles. 

He was a loving husband and father. His marriage to Blessing was solemnised on 3rd May 2014 in the Catholic Church.

Peter though has been unwell for a while he had medical attention both at Ogoja and Calabar. He did not show any sign of distress until he passed on suddenly but peacefully on that faithful day of Thursday the 25th day of January 2024.

He is survived by his wife Blessing, and Children Dominic, Theresa, Peter and Paul (twins).

Brothers include Bar Emmanuel Enamhe former Permanent secretary Servicom and one time Chief of Protocol to Governor Donald Duke, Hon Bar Marc Enamhe former member Cross River House of Assembly and Sir DornCklaimz Enamhe Alumni Relations Officer, University of Calabar.
