OMR 5.0: Healthy Billionaires Fitness Club Savours Obudu Mountain Resort's Splendour

Healthy Billionaires Club, a group of fitness, wellness, adventure, lifestyle, travel, and tourism enthusiasts, has concluded its fifth edition of Obudu Mountain Ranger (OMR 5.0), a fitness challenge and tour of the Obudu Ranch and Mountain Resort for members.
The event tagged "A Walk in the Clouds," took place on June 15, 2024, with over 40 participants taking part in the grueling 11-kilometer walk from the bottom hill through undulating topography and extremely winding road to the top of the famous Obudu Ranch and Mountain Resort; an experience members have described as "unforgettable."
Speaking to newsmen in Calabar upon their return from the adventurous Obudu Ranch and Mountain Resort trip, the Chairman of Healthy Billionaires Fitness Club, Mr. William Archibong, said the group has taken it upon itself to create programmes that promote healthy lifestyles with a fusion of tourism and fun.
Archibong who is also the Director General of Cross River Geographic Information Agency (CRGIA), enumerated the Calabar Walkathon and the Obudu Mountain Ranger, founded by Healthy Billionaires Fitness Club have both become health and tourism by-products, amassing public buy-in from fitness and adventure lovers, as well as fun-seekers beyond Cross River State.
Also speaking, the Chairman, Local Organizing Committee for this year's edition of OMR 5.0, Mr Tom Ikpeme, stated that the just-concluded event "pushed us to new heights - literally."
"We conquered breathtaking landscapes and scenery that rivaled the heavens themselves. This ultimate fitness test and weekend tour was like no other! We walked like gods in the clouds, feeling invincible and free," he relished.
Ikpeme called on enthusiasts who missed 5th edition of OMR to brace themselves for other thrilling adventures, as Healthy Billionaires Fitness Club is working round the clock to develop rich contents that would continue to promote fitness, health and adventurous entertainment.
When quizzed on the present situation of the Obudu Ranch and Mountain Resort, Mr Hope Obeten, the event's Head of Media, said: "The ranch is fully operational now, with massive Infrastructure upgrade ongoing by the state government.
He called on fun-seekers all over the world to visit the Obudu Ranch and Mountain Resort, a place he described as "a kaleidoscope of nature's beauty," for an experience of nature's wonders.
