NGO Ends Capacity Building Seminar in Calabar
"Her Day", a Justina Ovat Foundation event empowering local entrepreneurs as they interface with the general public recently took place in the city of Calabar, Nigeria.

A one-day seminar meant to equip women and young girls with rudimentary skills on how to float business venture has ended in Calabar.
the event organised by a Calabar-based Non-Government Organisation known as Justina Ovat Foundation, and, tagged “Her Day”, was conceived to provide a platform for local entrepreneurs to share ideas, experiences and establish synergies for mutual benefits
Speaking, the Executive Director of the foundation, Miss Odu Ebam,said:“Our intention is to provide a platform to showcase local entrepreneurs who have become a brand in their respective endeavour to enable them inspire the next generation.
“Our schedule entails exposing women and girls with vocational skills to promote self reliance and job creations.
“This we intend to achieve by leveraging on the success stories of our local entrepreneurs to motivate younger ones in order to curtail youth unemployment through inculcating the spirit of enterprise.”
The programme, solely sponsored by Justina Ovat Foundation was attended by girls from different secondary schools
