BREAKING! Suspended Law Faculty Dean, Prof. Ndifon, kidnapped by gunmen in Akpabuyo

The suspended Faculty of Law Dean, UNiversity of Calabar, (UNICAL) Prof Cyril Ndifon ,has been kidnapped gunmen.

Last week Ndifon raised the alarm that some masked men trailed him to the church and attempted to whisk him away.

Family source said gun-trotting men, numbering about 8, stormed the residence of Prof Cyril Ndifon located at Akpabuyo the outskirts of Calabar about 1am and whisked him away.

The armed men were said to have forced their way into Prof Ndifon's Akpabuyo residence in the outskirts of Calabar and arrested him from his sleeping bed.

A family source said: "Between the hours of 12:00 -- 1:00am on Thursday while we were asleep, we heard a bang at our door and a voice shouted we should open the door else they would blow the door open if we did not open at that moment.

“Without dilly-dallying, ten heavily armed men jumped over the fence into the compound and went straight into Oga room and broke into in and picked him up and dragged him into a waiting van and zoomed off".

When contacted on phone, Mrs. Ndifon said:"It is true that my husband was kidnapped this early morning by heavy armed men and I pray he comes back alive."

Recall that Ndifon has been having a running battle with the management of UNICAL over alleged misconduct.

He is currently facing an investigation over alleged rape cases.
