National Assembly Members Hail Otu’s Visionary Leadership

Cross River National Assembly representatives have commended Prince Bassey Otu for his inclusive leadership style and far-reaching policies that are immensely impacting on Cross Riverians.
The commendation was given on Tuesday at the House of Representatives, in National Assembly Abuja during a courtesy visit led by the Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters, Hon. Chris Mbu-Ogar.
During the visit, Member representing Obubra/Etung Constituency, Hon. Mike Etaba described Governor Otu as a servant leader who has put a human face to governance.
He commended the Special Adviser for his proactive stance in fostering unity among Members.
Member representing Calabar Municipality/Odukapni Constituency, Hon. Bassey Akiba stated that Otu’s bipartisan approach is a laudable development for the benefit of Cross River State.
Hon. Akiba stressed that the state stands to gain more through collective effort and dedication.
Speaking earlier, the Special Adviser National Assembly Matters, Hon. Chris Mbu-Ogar emphasized on the need for Cross Riverians at the National level to align their interests with the State Government’s vision and collaborate towards advancing a unified Cross River.
He pointed out that Otu’s all inclusive approach will birth a more prosperous and resilient state.
He urged members to fulfill their responsibilities diligently to ensure that the state's interests are well represented at the national level.
