Murphy Felicitates Cross River Accountant General On 50th Birthday, Inspects Projects

The special adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Project/Programmes, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPPME) Mr. Raphael Murphy has felicitated with the Accountant General of Cross River State, Dr. Glory Effiong as she marks her 50th Birthday.
Murphy who paid a surprised visit to the Accountant General with a special cake in company of his staff eulogized Dr. Effiong, describing her as a selfless and dedication worker who attends to all her task with due diligence.
He prayed God to bless her with sound health, wisdom, grace to carry on as well as more years on earth.
In the same vein, the Special Adviser also attended the official commissioning of the Vehicle Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by His Excellency Sen. Bassey Otu, at the Convention and Training Center, located at the Fabrication Academy, Muratala Muhammad Highway, Calabar.
Speaking at the event, the special adviser lauded the federal government for initiating the CNG project which he describes as a palliative intervention aimed at providing succour to the masses, to alleviate the transitive hardship of the fuel subsidy removal by the federal government of Nigeria.
Also, Mr Raphael Murphy visited Zeka construction site to inspect the ongoing maintenance on the damaged area along the four miles road in Odukpani local government area.
The Special Adviser who was joined by the Permanent Secretary ministry of works Prof Godwin Akeke, gave directives to the contractors and engineers on site, urging them to speed up with the work to avoid further damages.
