Matriarch of Obun' s Family Bows Out At 81

The matriarch of Obun' dynasty, Mrs. Christiana Akpana Obun had died at the age of 81.

Christiana died after a brief ilnness.

In a terse statement, Hon Cletus Obun, an All Progressives Congress ( APC) chieftain said: "With a deep sense of loss and to the glory of God Almighty, I on behalf of the Obun Dynasty, tearfully announce the sudden departure to eternity of my beloved mother and matriarch of the Obun Dynasty in Bumaji, Boki local government area of Cross River sate. late Mrs. Christiana Akpana Obun, 81, after a brief illness.

"Funeral arrangements shall be announced later."
