Intl. Labour Day: C'River NDDC Commissioner Hails Workers, Describes Them As Drivers Of Progress.

In commemoration of the international labour day marked today May 1, the Cross River State representative in the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Hon. Orok Duke has described workers as drivers of prosperity and progress in every government.
In a message of felicitation to mark the labour day, the NDDC state Representative said the contributions of workers to the socio-economic development of Cross River State, the Niger Delta region and Nigeria at large cannot be overemphasized.
"International Workers Day is a time to recognize and honor the commitment of workers across all sectors.
"Their unwavering dedication and hardworking drives progress and prosperity in our dear state and beyond.
"I commend the efforts you put in despite the challenges faced especially in this trying times.
"I want to assure you that the government prioritises your welfare and well-being while ensuring a conducive working environment and fair labor practices according to international standards" he said.
