Hon. Cyril Omini Supports Petty Traders in Calabar With a N3.6 Million Grant

The member representing Yakurr 1 state constituency in the Cross River state House of Assembly Hon. Cyril Omini has empowered about 12 petty businesses along his street in Calabar.
The lawmaker who lives along Duke Town close in the State Housing estate in Calabar supported the 12 petty traders with N300,000 each totaling N3.6million to support their businesses.
According to Omini, the grant was part of his commitment to support economic ventures even outside his constituency.
“While I proudly represent the people of Yakurr 1 Constituency in the State Assembly, I believe that uplifting communities should not be limited only to geographical areas or the people I represent”.
“Small businesses drive our local economy, and this support reflects my commitment to empowering hardworking individuals” the assemblyman said.
Since being sworn in as member representing Yakurr 1 state constituency, Hon. Cyril Omini has continued to empower and reach out to the needy both in his constituency and beyond with grants and empowerments in a bid to alleviate their lives.
