Governor Otu Commits to Security Delivery,Critical Infrastructure in C’River- Morphy 

Gov. Bassey Otu’s administration has continued to priorities Infrastructure and security for the needed peace for development in the State.

This was revealed by the Special Adviser Projects/Programs Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr Raphael Morphy while leading the department's team alongside the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon Emmanuel Ironbar on a spot assessment of some key infrastructure, which marks the beginning of the department’s 2025 Monitoring and Evaluation tour.

Mr Morphy said  the Governor has assured his administration would continue to build and invest in security, partnering and supporting the security architectures in the State to perform optimally.
Also in terms of infrastructure, the Special Adviser said Governor Otu has reduced infrastructure deficit in the State by over 40% since inception of his administration.

He noted that the ultimate goal of the administration is to accelerate infrastructure upgrades alongside the boasting of key investment for the well being of the people, especially in workers welfare, educational expansion, healthcare access improvement, solid mineral sector reforms, digital economy initiatives, agricultural mechanization among others.

The Chief of Staff to the Cross River Governor Hon Emmanuel Ironbar commended his boss, His Excellency Senator Bassey Otu for the much work done on security, especially in the area of road construction, renovation of the security office buildings as well as providing vehicles to help in combating crimes across the state.

According to Chief Ironbar, this is just an iceberg of the key projects which His Excellency Senator Otu have pinned to deliver on his mandate.
