German Shepherd Mauls Owner To Death In Cameroon

A top ranking government official in Cameroon, Simon Ngonja has been confirmed death after a brutal attack from his German Shepherd Dog at home in Yaounde.

According to local news source,TSBnews, Ngonja died on yesterday Thursday from excess blood loss resulting from multiple bites he sustained from the giant beast.

He was pounced on by the dog upon opening the gate to his house after returning from a long trip on Sunday.

" A Facebook user,Bella Power, who broke the news of the tragedy says"Returning from a trip last Sunday night,he was attacked by his dog after opening the gate of his house. He fought fiercely with the animal to the point where a soldier decided to kill the dog with a rifle bullet. The victim was rushed to the hospital with a lot of bleeding,the wounds were fatal"

The decease was an "Executive in the services of the Prime Minister in Yaoude."

Dog trainers who reacted blamed the incident on starvation stressing that the man must have failed to ensure adequate feeding arrangements for the dog in his absence.

They stated that dogs are often compel to attack owners or any known person to register their anger when starved for long.
