Former Rep, Daniel Asuquo, Resigns From LP, Set to Join APC

A former member of the House of Representatives representing Akamkpa/Biase federal constituency Rt. Hon. Daniel Asuquo (Dansuki) has resigned his membership of the Labour Party.
This was contained in a letter addressed to the state chairman of the Labour Party Apostle Ogar Osim and signed by Rt. Honorable Daniel Asuquo dated April 7 2025.
Rt. Honorable Daniel Asuquo who was the Labour Party senatorial candidate for the southern senatorial district of Cross River State in the last general election though did not state any reason for his resignation from the party thanked the Labour Party for giving him the platform to champion his political ambition in the 2023 general elections.
The letter read in parts “I wish to notify you and your esteem State Executive Committee of the Labour Party in Cross River State of my decision to resign my membership from the Labour Party.
“On behalf of my family and friends, I thank the party immensely for the platform it availed us to champion our collective political aspirations in the last political activities.
I wish you all in the Labour Party the best in your future endeavors”.
