Ex-Gov Udom Debunks Eket Senatorial Seat In 2027

Former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, has categorically denied rumors of his senatorial ambitions. 

Speaking at a stakeholders' meeting in Onna, Emmanuel emphasized his commitment to peace and cooperation, urging community leaders and youths to remain vigilant against external threats.

Emmanuel took the opportunity to address the false claims surrounding his alleged senatorial aspirations, attributing them to individuals who are unfamiliar with his character and values. 

He reaffirmed his stance on supporting zoning arrangements that favor specific regions, stating, "I am a man of my words. I don't take back what I said, both in secret and in the open."

The meeting, attended by notable figures such as Senator Ekong Sampson, Hon. Sunday Udofot Johnny, Hon. Kufre Umoren, and many others, aimed to promote unity and share love among kinsmen during the yuletide season.
