From OMAKA OKOH, (ABAKALIKI)
THE member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency, Comrade Chinedu Ogah, has disbursed over N200m, foodstuffs, and pieces of wrapper to his constituents in the spirit of the Yuletide.
Some of the food items Ogah distributed at his Item Amegu country home in Ikwo local government area of Ebonyi State include bags of rice, and indomie noodles.
Interacting with journalists, Ogah described the gesture as his annual event used to appreciate his constituents who voted him into the position of power.
He promised to go the extra mile to make his constituents happy by attracting more dividends of democracy to them, noting that he had mapped a plan to provide them with farm inputs next year's farming season to fight against food insecurity in the area.
The federal lawmaker commended President Bola Tinubu and Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State on their respective contributions to fighting hardship confronting the nation through their administrations' policies and programs, especially on the empowerment of the citizens.
Acknowledging the progress made by the Governor Nwifuru in improving the lives of Ebonyi people, Ogah emphasised the importance of complementing these efforts by extending further assistance to his constituents, especially in constituency development projects.
