Ekpache-Nkome Community Hails Lawmaker For Renovating Hospital

Member representing Ikom 1 state constituency and Minority leader of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Mr. Samuel Neji Abang has been commended for his selfless service to his community.

Honourable Neji Abang was presented with a humanitarian service award along side other recipients as part of activities to mark the 2023 Ikom new yam festival celebration by the Ekpache-Nkome community.

The award according to the community leaders was in recognition of the minority leader's effort in facilitating the renovation of the dilapidated Female ward at the Holy Family Joint Hospital, Ikom.

They described the project as one with a direct impact as its importance on the people cannot be overemphasized.

On his part, hon Abang appreciated the Ekpache-Nkome people for the gesture saying the award is a call to do more and reminded them of his promises during his campaigns to provide his constituents effective representation.

Holy Family Joint Hospital is the oldest and among the biggest hospitals in the Ikom Metropolis.
