Eket Council Boss Inspects Ultra-Modern Multipurpose Hall/ Agric Hub In Eket

The Transition Chairman, Eket Local Government Council, Hon. Rt. Hon. Akaninyene Tommey, on Tuesday, inspected the ongoing construction of the Ultra Modern Multipurpose Hall and Agric Hub project.

Tommey led members of his cabinet, the Transition Committee members, Council Head of Service and others on an inspection tour of the projects located in Ekpene Ukpa and Efoi village respectfully, in Eket LGA.

The Council boss while at the Multipurpose Hall project site at Ekpene Ukpa expressed satisfaction at the pace of work at the multipurpose hall which according to him is near completion.

Akaninyene Tommey's achievements of this administration have been remarkable, especially in the areas of Agriculture and infrastructure development. This administration is concerned with the wellbeing of the people and development of Eket Local Government Area at large. 

From findings during the site inspection by the Council Boss, the new ultramodern hall will be equipped with modern facilities which will serve the purpose of time.  The edifice is described as one of the best things that happened to the council.

However, the Agric Farming Project will be the first of it's kind in Eket Local Government Area which is in line with the ARISE AGENDA of the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pst.Umo Bassey Eno,  Akaninyene Tommey's vision of moving the local government forward, noting that the effort with, no doubt, will help reduce the cost of living and food stuffs in the area.
