Ebonyi: Rep Ogah Calls For Peace, Reconciliation As Ndufu Alike Coronates New King

Federal House of Representatives Member, Ikwo/Ezza South Constituency, Rt. Hon. (Comrade) Chinedu Ogah OON, has appealed the newly coronated traditional ruler of Ndufu Alike Autonomous Community, His Royal Majesty, Amb. Chief Francis Eze Igwe, (Eze Agom Ugbala II), to use his position to establish peace and make a sound reconciliation among the people of the community.

Ogah, who made the appeal in his goodwill message during the coronation ceremony at Ndufu Alike in Ikwo Local government area, congratulated the newly coronated traditional ruler of Ndufu Alike Autonomous Community, saying "this is an additional assignment for you just as we expect that you attract more development and peace in Ndufu Alike.

Ogar said: "This is an additional assignment for you to bring adequate reconciliation to everyone and everything that has caused dispute in the lives of Ndufu Alike people as a whole.

"Those who kicked against your nomination to be coronated, welcome them. Even those who filed a suit against you, forgive them and bring them together for peaceful coexistence.

"God has made it possible that you are today coronated as the traditional Ruler of Ndufu Alike Ikwo. Yes, it is an act of God and the legacy that you have left that made it possible.

"Therefore, I urge you to join hands with other traditional Rulers from Ikwo Local Government Area to make Ikwo a better place where peace and unity reign high".

Present at the occasion include the Minister of Works and former governor of Ebonyi State, Sen. Engr. David Nweze Umahi, former Senate President, Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim; Sen. Obinna Ogba; Amobi Ogah; member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency of Abia State; Senate Deputy Chief Whip, Sen. Onyekachi Nwebonyi, Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Moses Odunwa, and Senator representing Ebonyi Central, Sen. Ken Eze.
