Cross Riverians In the Diaspora (CRID), has elected a new executive committee to pilot its affairs for the next three years.

ross Riverians In the Diaspora (CRID), has elected a new executive committee to pilot its affairs for the next three years.
The chairman of the electoral committee, Justin Udie, while speaking to Journalists recently in Calabar, described the election held over a week ago as "a friendly contest by Cross Riverians living in all continents of the world."
"It was a great experience for the electoral committee. Patrick Archibong (Secretary), Austa-Mary Gabriel-Unah (Member) and I, all played leading roles in ensuring a free, transparent and credible online election," the electoral committee chairman said.
Udie stated that the new executives is headed by Christopher Lekan (USA), President, Patience Oluwasetu (UK), Vice President, Ignatius Oli (Germany), Secretary, Solomon Eko (Germany), Assistant Secretary.
Others are Paul Onah (USA), Finance Officer, Iseone Lawal (Germany), Public and Membership Relations Officer, Augustine Obi (UK), Project Coordinator, Otiko Tony Jp (UK), Liaison Officer Europe, and Olom Egana Basil-Uka (USA), Liaison Officer North America.
The electoral committee also informed that plans for the inauguration of the new Cross Rivererian diaspora leadership are underway.
"We pray God to give them the wisdom and enabling grace to be able to support the welfare of Cross Riverians in the diaspora and those at home," Undie concluded.
