Cross River State Political Network Mobilises Over 15,000 Members For Gov Otu's Endorsment

Cross River State Political Network (CRISPON) has concluded arrangements to endorse President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu for the second term.
CRISPON is the largest online and offline sociopolitical organisation in Cross River State and mobilising over 25, 000 members to epoch-making event slated for Thursday, May 24, 2025 at the U.J Esuene Stadium, Calabar.
The Director General of Cross River State Political Network and Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Dr Prince Michael Nku Abuo,JP, disclosed this during a meeting of the members of the Central Planning Committee of the CRISPON Southern Senatorial District.
Nku said Southern district comprises of over 2000 representatives from across the 76 wards of the 7 LGAs of Odukpani, Biase, Akamkpa, Calabar South, Calabar Municipality, Bakassi and Akpabuyo.
He said: “This month marks a significant month in the history of our state as it marks the 2nd Year Anniversary of Sweet Prince, Bassey Edet Otu, the Executive Governor of Cross River State tenure as Governor.
"Thus far the state is witnessing transformational leadership as several infrastructural projects have been initiated and some completed and several intervention programs launched to positively impact the lives of the common man.
"I, therefore, call on Cross Riverians and members of CRISPON to continually support His Excellency’s People First Government and promised to mobilize at least 15,000 of Cross River State Political Network, CRISPON across the South to attend a reception and endorsement as he marks his second year in office.
"To show our support and love for Gov. Otu and our party, the APC, we will be mobilising to endorse Sen Bassey Otu and hosting a reception of over 15,000 of our team members across the 76 wards of the South in his honor.
"The event will also show case the gains of his administration and urge for his support and same will be replicated across the 66 wards of the 6 LGAs of Central, 54 wards of the 5 LGAs of the North.”
