CROSS RIVER STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE: Update On The Nationwide Protest

The Commissioner of Police, Cross River State Command, CP Grimah, PSC, FCAI, extends his heartfelt appreciation to the residents of Cross River State for their peaceful and lawful conduct during the recent "End Bad Government" protest, despite the perceived threats of violence.

CP Grimah urges all residents to continue their lawful activities without fear and to disregard any malicious, misleading, and unfounded information circulating for personal gain.

He emphasizes the importance of security consciousness among the public and encourages reporting any suspicious activities or unfamiliar individuals in their areas to the Police or other security agencies for prompt response.

CP Grimah, on behalf of the Nigeria Police Force, Cross River State Command, acknowledges and commends the collective efforts and cooperation of Cross Riverians, traditional and religious institutions, hoteliers, market associations, transport unions, youth groups, student unions, the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), corporate bodies, other security agencies, media houses, the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), and the dedicated police personnel of the command. 

The synergy and unwavering support recorded thus far are highly appreciated.
