The Federal Commissioner representing Cross River State in the National Population Commission (NPC), Rt. Hon. Alex Ukam, has extended warm congratulations to Governor Bassey Otu on his 65th birthday, recognizing him as an iconic leader worthy of admiration and emulation.

In his goodwill message, Rt. Hon. Ukam highlighted this milestone not only as a personal achievement for the Governor but also as a moment of significance for all Cross Riverians.

He commended the Governor’s remarkable accomplishments, which reflect his steadfast commitment to the state’s growth and development.

"We are grateful to God Almighty for His guidance, wisdom, and protection that have shaped your leadership journey," the statement noted.

Rt. Hon. Ukam also remarked on the Governor's amazing young appearance at 65, which continues to inspire admiration despite the demanding nature and busy schedules of his office.

Additionally, he expressed appreciation for the Governor's support in the emergence of Hon. Edodi Eyong and Hon. Ekuma Ngwu as candidates for Chairman and Vice Chairman of the APC in Biase as well as that of other LGAs, expressing confidence in their capabilities, qualifications and experience to come victorious in the upcoming local government elections.

He concluded with heartfelt prayers for more grace, good health, and long life on the Governor, urging Cross Riverians to remain supportive to ensure his ongoing successes in the developmental strides he is currently achieving.
