Chairmanship Election: Education, Agriculture, Infrastructural Development Top Anom's Agenda For Etung

Ahead of November 2 local government election in Cross River state, the ruling All Progressives Congress's chairmanship candidate for Etung Local Government Area, Hon. Henry Anom has promised transformative leadership for his people should be prevail in his bid for the plomp position.
The chairmanship hopeful who made the pledge while speaking to newsmen during his party's campaign in Bendeghe-Ekiem, revealed that education, agriculture, infrastructure and socioeconomic development, are top in his agenda for the good people of Etung Local Government Area.
Speaking on education, the popular choice (Anom) noted that, if voted into office, he will vigorously pursue the enhancement access, quality, and infrastructure of schools in the LGA. He also assured of scholarships and other education support for students of Etung descent.
Hon. Anom also promised to explore the huge agricultural potentials of the local government area by empowering local farmers bolster farming productivity and ensure food security, as well as create jobs in the area.
The Mkpot-born politician also harped on fostering entrepreneurship development, attracting investments, and creating opportunities for the economic growth of the LGA.
On the poor state of infrastructure in Etung, Anom assured of making road network a priority. He emphasized on the need for access and motorable roads for easy transportation of agro produce to nearby markets. He also promised to upgrade healthcare facilities and public services such as motor parks, markets, etc, to enhance transborder trade.
He said the Etung progressive team led by him would fashion out policies, programmes and projects that will transform the Agric rich local government area to greater heights.
"My vision aims to transform Etung into a hub for knowledge and skills (education), sustainable food production (agriculture), business and innovation (economic growth), modern infrastructure (roads, healthcare, etc.) among the comity of local government areas in Cross River State, Nigeria.
"This holistic approach will improve the quality of life for Etung residents and drive progress," he enthused.
The APC flag bearer appealed to the people of Etung to come out en masse on November 2 and vote for him in support of the bid to better the lots of Etung LGA and its people.
