Canaan Table Tennis Club Star, Hope Udoaka, Bags MVP Award

ELICRIS National Table Tennis champion Hope Udoaka, has been awarded the Most Valuable female Player (MVP) in the 10th edition of the ELICRIS National Table Tennis Invitational Championship which held in Lagos recently.
Recall that Hope Udoaka of the Canaan Table Tennis club in December emerged the National Women’s Champion in the 10th edition of the ELICRIS National Table Tennis Top 32 Invitational Championship after defeating Sukurat Aiyelebegan 4-2 in the finals.
Udoaka, who spoke with newsmen after her presentation, attributed her success to dedication and commitment to goal.
She lauded the Canaan Table Tennis club for discovering and mentoring stars and for giving them that platform to grow to national and international levels.
“I give all thanks to God and Rt. Hon. Orok Duke, Chairman of Canaan Table Tennis Club for making it possible for me to attend this invitational championship. All thanks to him for his support so far in bringing up players from Cross River State. It’s a thing of joy to announce that I once again defended the title,” she said.
Reacting to the award, Chairman of Canaan Table Tennis Club, Rt Hon Orok Duke, hailed Udoaka for her steadfastness and commitment to the course.
He stated that her success is another testimonial to the works of the Canaan Table Tennis Club which he said has also produced stars like Nigerian Olympic star Offiong Edem while describing the award as well deserved.
