CAGraM/Door 2 Door Support Groups Honour APC Chieftains in Cross River

The National and State Leadership of two iconic support groups, Consolidated APC grassroots Movement ( CAGraM) and the APC Door to Door Alliance, Nigeria, have honoured the group National Patron and Chairman, National Board of trustees, Elder, High Chief Prof. Eyo Etim Nyong and the Natural Leader of Bakassi, distinguished, Senator Florence Ita Giwa ( MON) with an award of excellence towards the emergence of the APC as the ruling party of the State.
The Award was in recognition of the recipients outstanding political leadership and grassroot mobilisation in support of the ruling APC Party in the state and Country.
Presenting the Awards, the Group's National Leader, Evang Ubi Etowa (Phd) in company of the state Chairman, CAGraM, Apostle Dr. Iya Orok among other state Executive Committee Members praised the awardees for their untiring support and assistance which has positively upturned the political landscape of the state.
"Elder, High Chief, Prof. Eyo Etim Nyong, an astute politician, Leader and Founder of the 'Prince Otu and Odey Support Organisation ( POOSO) as well as the political Father of Back to South Campaign slogan in which His Excellency Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu is a beneficiary while Chief Florence Ita Giwa, Leader of most political groups predominantly in the South ensured the effective mobilisation of the grassroots mostly Women and Youths to enthrone the present administration. This duo has left a legacy in the historical development of the state," Etowa emphasised.
In their separate responses, the Recipients, Elder, High Chief Professor Eyo Etim Nyong thanked the leadership of CAGraM and APC Door 2 Door Support Groups for the distinguished Award, saying, "this is my first political reward after the 2023 general election which makes this award very dear to me".
He used the opportunity to assure support groups who were yet to be captured in the ongoing political appointments, of inclusiveness in the Prince Otu led administration and promised to study the groups business presentation at the recent dinner programme to enable the state policy committee to make imputs as it involves the federal government collaboration with an Abuja based Company, INNOV8 Nigeria limited, in respect of the utilisation of facilities at the Tanapa in Cross River.
A former Presidential Adviser on Legislative Affairs in the country and Natural Leader of Bakassi, distinguished Senator Florence Ita Giwa ( MON) expressed appreciation to the Support Groups for the honour done her and for acknowledging her contribution towards the actualization of Back to South which has contributed in no small measure to the emergence of Senator Prince Bassey Otu as the Executive Governor of the state.
CAGraM and APC Door to Alliance remains resolute in her mission to always reward excellence and uplift those who exhibit the highest standard of leadership and service.
It will be recalled that these Support groups had presented various categories of Awards to deserving Cross Riverians who made significant impact in last years general election including Governor Prince Otu and his Wife, Eyoanwan.
