BREAKING... Cross River: Bolt Driver, Female Passenger Kidnapped in Calabar As Abductors of Prof Egaga Demand N15m Ransom
By Our Reporter
Palpable tension and fear have gripped Calabar residents as again a bolt driver and a female passenger were allegedly whisked away by gunmen.
The incident was said to have happened at University of Calabar (UNICAL) staff quarters axis, the destination of the Bolt driver, on Tuesday night.
The driver, identified Jeremiah Enya, was said to be with three other passengers when the incident occurred.
While he was abducted with a female passenger, the two other passengers in the vehicle were a male and a female.
An eye-witness said the kidnappers zoomed off with their two victims on the car they came with and abandoned the Bolt driver's car.
Recall that two weeks ago the University of Calabar Director of Servicom, Prof. Patrick Egaga, was abducted at his residence in the University staff quarters.
His abductors initially demanded for N50mas ransom but later reduced it to N15m.
Family source said Egaga is still in the kidnappers den, calling on government to intervene to save the life of the bread winner and father.
