ollowing the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly, the Senator Representing Cross River South Senatorial District, Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr, has promised to sponsor youth friendly bills on the floor of the Senate throughout his stay.

 The lawmaker, who is the Youngest Elected Senate in the 10th Senate, stated this while speaking with Our correspondent in Abuja shortly after his inauguration at his reception venue.

According to Asuquo "My emergence into the hallowed Chambers was divinely orchestrated by God through the help of men. As a young person myself, I am surrounded with many young people who I want to see grow through my legislation" 

"Like I have always pledged, my commitment will be to my beloved constituents, Youths, market women, the aged among others, who entrusted me with their mandate for the next Four (4) Years"

"The work starts Now for us and there's no going back on the commitment i have sworn to and with God by my side, my people will be happy at the end of my term"

On being the youngest Senator in the senate, Asuquo stated that, his youthful energy was only but an advantage "i am ready to roll up my sleeves and work to see that, my constituents are happy, this is all that matters, not age."
