Appeal Court To Rule On Sandy - Otu Case on Wednesday November 22

The Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos is set to deliver judgment governorship appeal petition filed by Sen Sandy Onor and PDP against Prince Bassey Otu and APC on Wednesday November 22, 2023 by 9:00am.

The governorship tribunal had earlier dismissed the petition by Sen Sandy Onor and PDP brought before it against Prince Bassey Otu and APC.

The tribunal had held that the matter before it was a pre-election matter.

It could be recalled that the Appeal court siting in Lagos had earlier in November adopted written addresses in the case instituted by Prof Sandy Onor challenging the lower Tribunal jugdment which affirmed Sen. Bassey Otu as the winner of March 18 governorship election in Cross River while reserving judgement to be delivered on or before November 26.
