MY POSITION ON THE CURRENT POLITICAL DISPENSATION - HIGH ONWE

In the main, may I express my sincere gratitude to my teeming supporters who thronged the Margaret Ekpo International Airport yesterday, Friday ,8 May to welcome me back to the state after a two- week sojourn outside the country.

I pledge to continue to work together with every one of my supporters to move forward in the appropriate direction and  capacity we consider necessary in the pursuit of the best interest of our people.

In this regard, I join them to pledge my total loyalty to the President of this great country , His Excellency Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and we hereby solemnly ENDORSE him as our candidate for the 2027 Presidential Election. We shall continue  door-to-door campaign  to mobilise total  votes for him in the election.

We also pledge our total commitment to the re-election of our performing Governor, His Excellency Senator, Prince ,Apostle Bassey Edet Otu and assure him of our total support for  his re-election.  We will cover the length and breadth of Cross River North and beyond to mobilise our teeming voters to ensure seamless victory for him.

Following decision of major contenders for the senate seat of Cross River North to withdraw from  the Senate race , my supporters and I hereby endorse Senator Agom, Jarigbe Agom as our consensus Senate candidate for the All Progressives Congress for Cross River North and we congratulate him for achieving this feat.

Also, with regards to the Yala 11 State Constituency position, in cognisance of the fact that we have Ukelle North and Ukelle South, and presently the Chairman of Yala Local Government Area, the Deputy State Chairman of our great party ,the APC, the Constituency Relations Officer for Constituency 11, the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor of our state and Hon Commissioner for International Development Cooperation are all from North Ukelle, I feel it is imperative that the State House of Assembly should  remain in South Ukelle to create the needed balance of power between North and south Ukelle. We hereby endorse Hon ,Dr Martins Achadu for the post of Yala 11 House of Assembly seat.

Meanwhile, we await further directives on the House of Representatives position for the Ogoja/ Yala Federal Constituency position and shall follow the path chosen for us in the interest of our people and political trajectory.
