Messi Signs New Deal with Inter Miami until 2028

Lionel Messi has officially extended his contract with Inter Miami until December 2028, the club confirmed on Thursday. The Argentine superstar's new deal ensures he'll remain with the MLS side for at least three more years.

Messi, 38, had a verbal agreement to extend his contract, which was approved by MLS earlier this week. This move solidifies his commitment to Inter Miami and the North American league.

Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham praised Messi's commitment, stating, "He's still as committed as he's ever been and he still wants to win." Messi expressed his happiness, saying, "It makes me really happy to stay here and continue with this project".⁴
