Late Commissioner, Eka Williams to be Buried December 5

The burial of the late Cross River State Commissioner for Power and Renewable Energy, Prince Eka Williams Abang, has been fixed for Saturday, 5th December 2026 at his country home in Akparabong, Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River State.

The obsequies as announced by the family and signed by Pst. Nkang Williams Abang, states that programme of activities will commence on Friday, 4th December 2026, with a Wake Keep at his country home in Akparabong by 4:00 PM.

According to the announcement, the interment will take place on Saturday, 5th December 2026, at the Community Secondary School, Akparabong Field, opposite his country home, while the funeral will be rounded off with a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, 6th December 2026 at the Family Church.

The family further announced that the dress code for Friday and Saturday is All Black, while All White will be worn for the Thanksgiving Service on Sunday.
