JUST IN: Gov. Otu Reverses Recent Media Appointments, Appoints New Aides

Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Otu, has reversed recent appointments of social media handlers. 

This was contained in a press statement signed by the secretary of the state government Prof Anthony Owan Enoh.

The statement said the reversal was reached after a careful review of the appointments which the Governor directed that the appointments be put on hold pending further notice.

However, the Governor confirmed the promotions of several media appointees, including:

Ms. Imani Odey as Special Adviser, Electronic Media
Mr. Andrea Ekeng as Senior Special Assistant, New Media
Mr. Nathaniel Otaba as Senior Special Assistant, Communication
Mr. Oqua Etim as Special Assistant, ICT
Mr. Daniel Williams as Special Assistant, Photography
Mr. Godswill Ekpe as Special Assistant, Cinematography

In the same vein, the state Governor has approved the appointment of the following aides:-

Beatrice Akpala - Special Adviser Content Development and Archiving
Mr. Friday Awaday - Senior Special Assistant, Media Advocacy
Phylo Modlin Odu - Senior Special Assistant Technical Media Research and Engagement
Saviour Etim Asuquo - Special Assistant Content Development
Antan Okor - Special Assistant Public Orientation
Mr. Victor Akam - Special Assistant Public Affairs
Eval Asikong - Senior Special Assistant, Strategic Communication
Thelma Benson - Senior Special Assistant Broadcast Media
Queen-Esther Bassey - Special Assistant Media Planning and Documentation
Ebriku John Friday - Senior Special Assistant Data Analytics
Faith Ejeje - Special Assistant Brand Management and Advertising
