Jarigbe Builds Six Classrooms in Cross River North

The Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, has facilitated the construction of six classroom blocks in three public schools across the district.
The intervention, which cuts across Yala, Obudu and Bekwarra local government areas, is designed to improve learning conditions and strengthen educational infrastructure in rural communities.
According to the lawmaker, the initiative reflects his commitment to raising the standard of education and ensuring that children in Cross River North have access to safe and conducive learning environments. He maintained that education remains central to sustainable development and pledged to continue attracting impactful projects to the district.
The beneficiary schools are Community Secondary School, Igbekurikor in Ugaga Ward of Yala Local Government Area; St Paul’s Primary School, Ukpada in Utugwang South, Obudu Local Government Area; and Community Primary School, Ubepa in Otukpuru Ward, Bekwarra Local Government Area.
The project sites were formally handed over to JRB Construction Company, represented by Engr Tola T J, by the Constituency Officer, Mr Egar Mgbantul, on behalf of the senator.
Community members have welcomed the development, describing it as a timely intervention that will ease classroom congestion and enhance teaching and learning across the affected schools.
