Imoke's Former Aide Empowers 20 Doctoral Students with Financial Support

Former Governor Liyel Imoke aide, Hon. Dodeye Arikpo, has empowered 20 Doctoral students studying in various institutions in the nation's Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with financial support.
Arikpo, who served as Chief Security Officer to Imoke when he was governor of Cross River, said the intervention is to enable the beneficiaries to focus on their studies.
He reaffirmed his commitment to continually provide support for the educational needs of the people as part of efforts to boost human capital development.
He noted that in or out of office would not stop his desire to see to the educational advancement of the people.
"true leadership is not defined by position, but by impact. I will keep showing up for my people even without any political appointment.
"I am hopeful that this payment of tuition fees for an entire academic session for these 20 Ph.D students will ensure that deserving students can achieve their academic aspirations without being hindered by financial constraints.
"Investment in these scholars is not merely a contribution to their personal development but also a strategic investment in the future of society, as these students are expected to contribute meaningfully to research, innovation, and national development," he stated.
