Ibadan Court Judgment Victory For Rule of Law, Says C'River PDP

A faction of the People's Democratic Party in Cross River State lead by Venatius Ikem has welcomed the Ibadan Court judgment on the crisis in the party, saying it's victory for the rule of law.

The Ibadan division of the Federal High Court recently nullified the convention that produces the Saminu Turaki, SAN lead national executive of the party.

The Publicity Secretary of the faction, Mike Ojisi in a statement made available in Calabar also called on members of the party in the state to respect the judgment.

"This judgment is a significant victory for the rule of law and democracy in Nigeria. It underscores the importance of adhering to court orders and the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. 

" We commend the court's decision and urge all members of the PDP in Cross River State to respect the judgment.

"We call on all PDP members in Cross River State to unite behind the Abdulrahman-led Caretaker Committee, the party State Chairman Bar. Venatius Ikem and work towards rebuilding and repositioning the party for future successes. 

"Together, we can build a stronger, more united, and more prosperous PDP in Cross River State", he said.
