Fubara Pledges Closer Ties With Rivers State Assembly

Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has pledged to foster closer ties with members of the Rivers State House of Assembly in the interest of good governance and the overall development of the state.

The governor made the commitment while congratulating Ukalikpe Napoleon and Loolo Bulabari Henrietta, winners of the bye elections conducted on Saturday, February 21, by the Independent National Electoral Commission in the Ahoada East and Khana State Constituencies respectively.

He urged the newly elected lawmakers to justify the confidence reposed in them by their constituents through dedicated service and effective representation.

Fubara reaffirmed his willingness to work harmoniously with them and other members of the Assembly to promote unity, stability and progress in Rivers State.

“I look forward to working with them and their colleagues in the Rivers State House of Assembly for the progress of our state,” the governor said.
