FG Unveils Theme For Nigeria's 65th Independence Celebration "ALL HANDS ON DECK"

The Federal Government of Nigeria has unveiled the theme for the 2025 Independence day celebration in the country.

The theme for the Nigeria @ 65 celebration as announced by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government is "All Hands on Deck for a Greater Nation".

According to Imohiosen, the theme emphasizes the need for unity, collaboration, and patriotism among government institutions, the private sector, civil societies and citizens.

"It reflects Nigeria's resilience since independence in 1960, highlights the importance of consolidating past achievements while pursuing loftier goals under the Renewed Hope Agenda"

The statement revealed that there will be a Juma’at Prayer on Friday, September 26, Inter-denominational Church Service on Sunday, September 28 and a World Press Conference on Monday, September 29 in Abuja to mark the democracy day celebration.
