Easter: Netanyahu condemns ‘Christian persecution’ in Nigeria
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has condemned the persecution of Christians in Nigeria.
In his Easter message posted on his official X handle, Netanyahu condemned what he called the persecution of Christians in Nigeria and other countries.
Extending holiday greetings, he singled out Nigeria—alongside Syria, Lebanon and Turkey—where he said believers face danger, arguing that Israel alone in the region shelters a growing Christian community.
He linked the appeal to ongoing regional tensions, saying Israel still protects freedom of worship even under missile threats.
