Cross River Governor Honors WAFCON Winner Miracle Usani with VVIP Status

The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu, has conferred the highest state honor on Cross River born Super Falcons player Miracle Usani, awarding her the VVIP status of the State. 

This recognition comes after Usani's outstanding performance at the Women African Cup of Nations (WAFCON), where she helped Nigeria secure victory.

Governor Otu while praising Usani's exceptional talent, said, Miracle's talent has brought pride to the state.

"Today, I finally met with our star, our very own Miracle on the Pitch, whose exceptional talent, alongside that of other young female players, has brought immense pride and joy to our nation, and most especially to us as a state."

"As part of the honor, I hereby confer VVIP status, she will enjoy all rights and privileges accorded to VVIPs in Cross River, particularly at state events". 

"This is our way of celebrating excellence and inspiring other young people to reach for greatness," Governor Otu said.

Additionally, the Governor has approved ₦50 million and allocated a piece of land to celebrate the young star.
