C'River: APC Convenes Strategic Meetings to Rebuild Cohesion After Leadership Crisis

By Ekanem Asuquo

The Cross River State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced two critical meetings scheduled for Thursday as part of efforts to reinforce internal unity following the recent revolt that led to the exit of former State Chairman, Alphonsus Ogar Eba, Esq.

In a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary, Hon. Emmanuel Edem Inyang, the party said all chapter chairmen have been directed by the Acting State Chairman, Ntufam Ekum Ekok Ojogu, to attend a joint meeting with the State Executive Committee on Thursday, 4 December 2025.

The meeting, billed for 10:00 a.m. at the APC State Secretariat, is described as mandatory for all invitees.

According to the statement, the gathering is aimed at strengthening coordination and restoring cohesion across party structures following recent internal disagreements.

The party also announced that the State Executive Committee will hold a separate session later in the afternoon.

The second meeting is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., also at the party secretariat.

The leadership urged all officials concerned to attend both meetings punctually, noting that the discussions will be central to stabilising the party and repositioning it for upcoming political activities in the state.
