CHELSEA TO OFFLOAD JACKSON, STERLING, NKUNKU 22 OTHERS

Chelsea could secure a €163 million boost this summer by selling key players Christopher Nkunku, Joao Felix, Renato Veiga, and Raheem Sterling.
Following an intense transfer window start, Enzo Maresca’s squad at Stamford Bridge is now concentrating on approving multiple player sales to slim down the senior roster ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League season.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea has priced Joao Felix at €50 million, attracting interest from his former club Benfica. Meanwhile, they aim for €23 million for Sterling after a disappointing loan spell at Arsenal.
Renato Veiga, who was signed last summer for just €14 million, is expected to fetch a much higher fee, with Chelsea demanding €40 million amid advanced negotiations with Atletico Madrid.
However, the club has lowered its asking price for Christopher Nkunku from €75 million in January to €50 million now, hoping to move him on despite some positive signs during the Club World Cup. Nkunku has struggled with consistency and fitness since his 2023 arrival.
Beyond these four, Chelsea intends to offload several other players to trim the first-team squad, which currently numbers 43. Axel Disasi, Ben Chilwell, and Alfie Gilchrist are likely to leave, with Trevoh Chalobah and Benoit Badiashile also potential departures if the right offers come in.
Lesley Ugochukwu and Carney Chukwuemeka are set to be sold, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall might follow despite establishing himself as a dependable squad member.
In the attacking department, Armando Broja and David Datro Fofana are expected to exit, and Nicolas Jackson could also be sold if Chelsea receives bids exceeding €81 million (£70 million).
