Chelsea Agree Personal Terms with Pep Chavarría, Deal with Rayo Vallecano Nearing Completion

Chelsea have reached an agreement on personal terms with Rayo Vallecano left-back Pep Chavarría, with the player giving the green light to a move to Stamford Bridge. 

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chavarría is keen on joining Chelsea and is specifically motivated by the prospect of playing under head coach Xabi Alonso. 

Club-to-club negotiations with Rayo Vallecano are now underway, and sources indicate the deal is close to being finalized. 

The 23-year-old Spaniard would add depth and competition at left-back as Chelsea look to reinforce Xabi Alonso’s squad ahead of the new season.
