YULETIDE: SEN ETENG CELEBRATES WITH ETUNG LGA, DOLES OUT N12.5M, 200 BAGS OF RICE

IN continuation of festivities to mark the Yuletide season, Sen. Eteng Jonah Williams have doled out the sum of N12. 5m to Etung Local Government Area.

The breakdown shows that the youths and the two women groups received the sum of N500,000 each while the Council of chiefs received the sum of N1m.

The sum of N10m and 200 bags of rice were given to all the stakeholders.

Eteng, who represents the Central Senatorial district, was at Etung Council Hall at Effraya on Tuesday to celebrate with his constituents and thanked them for their support so far.

Dignitaries present at the event include the Local Government Chairman, Hon Henry Njar Anom, Commissioner for Health, Dr. Egbe Ayuk, Hon. Cyril Omin,. Hon. Uket Obono, former Vice Chairman of Yakurr Local Government, Mrs Kate Ogom, former council chairmen, members of Etung Councils of Chiefs, as well as former legislators.

Others are Johnson Ugbor, Moses Offem,

 Etung Women in Politics, Etung Women Organisation Network, party stakeholders community leaders and youth groups.
