Yuletide Ecstasy in C’River North as Odey, Jarigbe Splash ₦108m on Constituents

Christmas celebrations received a major boost in Cross River North Senatorial District on Monday as top leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) rolled out a ₦108 million Christmas support package for party stakeholders across the zone.
The stakeholders’ meeting, held at the Ogoja Local Government Council Secretariat, was attended by the Cross River State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey; the Senator representing Cross River North, Distinguished Sen. Jarigbe Agom; Chief Higgins Peter; Chief Timmy Tom; and other prominent party leaders.
Speaking at the gathering, Senator Jarigbe Agom announced the disbursement of ₦58 million to APC stakeholders in the senatorial district to support grassroots Christmas celebrations. He said the gesture was intended to promote unity, strengthen party cohesion, and ensure that the joy of the season reaches party faithful across the district.
In a similar show of goodwill, Deputy Governor Peter Odey disclosed that he had released ₦50 million to APC stakeholders in Cross River North to enhance the Yuletide celebration. According to him, the initiative underscores the collective commitment of party leaders to inclusiveness, unity, and the welfare of members, particularly during the festive period.
Both leaders urged APC stakeholders to sustain peace, unity, and cooperation within the party, noting that a united Cross River North is essential for effective governance and accelerated development in the state.
The meeting ended on a celebratory note, with stakeholders reaffirming the slogan “One North, One People,” as Christmas festivities commenced across communities in the senatorial district.
