Unical Postpones Postgraduate Exams Due to ASUU Strike

The University of Calabar( Unical) has announced the postponement of its Computer-Based Test (CBT) and oral examinations for postgraduate students, initially scheduled for October 17th and 18th, 2025.

The decision comes as a result of the ongoing Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike.

According to a memo signed by the Provost of Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Eyong Ubana Eyong, the new examination dates are as follows: Mock exams will hold on Thursday, October 30th, 2025, PGD and Non-thesis Masters will be on Friday, October 31st, 2025, while MSc and PhD exams will take place on Saturday, November 1st, 2025.

The Provost, as conveyed by the memo, apologized for the inconveniences caused by the postponement and urges affected students to take note of the new dates.
